Adding a driveway to you’re the front or side of your house is a great way to rejuvenate the exterior of your property. It also creates additional off road parking and, in the majority of cases, will increase the value of your property, generating a great return on your investment. At Walton Homes we can create a driveway to match your taste and budget.
We make sure we pay particular attention to drainage when creating our driveways. Failure to include a drainage system can result in flooding. Due to increased development areas, higher quantities of storm water are entering our drainage systems, making the risk of flooding much higher. Water that would have drained away naturally through the soil can no longer do so and this is due to the number of driveways that have been paved with concrete slabs and blocks which don’t allow the water to drain. This problem is so severe that it may become illegal in the future to pave a driveway without planning permission, unless you use a “permeable system” which will allow drainage.
